Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Egg Free
My friend Ferda Susel is a talented lady. She is the resident naturopath at Evelyn Faye Nutrition in Melbourne’s CBD, and she is one of the most creative people I know when it comes to healthy food. She recently posted this creation on Facebook and has been generous enough to let me share her recipe on my blog.
But first… here’s a photo to make you drool…
2 large tbsp of coconut oil – melted
1 tsp dark agave syrup
3 heaped tsp raw organic cocoa powder
1.5 tsp coconut sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp orange rind, finely chopped
1.5 tbsp smashed up frozen mixed berries
Mix cocoa powder and coconut sugar together and then add the wet ingredients. Mix well.
Then in a separate bowl mix the walnuts, chia seeds, orange rind and berries.
Then add cocoa and coconut mix to bowl and mix well. Then put straight into moulds and into the freezer for 40 minutes…
